The Process

To understand the time and care that is taken into each printing job, we thought it would be beneficial to show you what happens each time we print a job.

1.  You decide what you want printed.  We can help you shop for something if you give us an idea of what you are looking for or you can shop by going directly to our supplier's website by clicking here.  Also during this step, you send us your artwork (or we can help you create it). **We prefer you send us the artwork in the format of Adobe Illustrator.  If you are working with a designer, they most likely will have created it in this format and can just email it to us.  If not, please let us know and we may be able to recreate it depending on the complexity of the artwork.

2.  Once you've decided what you would like to order and we have the artwork ready and the final proof approved by you, we will price the items for you.  You then make payment for your order to us and we place the shirt order with our supplier and make sure we have the appropriate inks for the job.

3.  Next we need to output the film that we use to makeexposure.jpg the screens for your job.

4.  We coat the screens with a photosensitive emulsion and dry them in our dark room.

5.  After the screens are dry, we place them in our vacuum exposure unit along with the artwork film where they are exposed the the appropriate amount of UV light to burn the artwork into the screens.

6.  After being exposed, the screens are then washed out with a pressure washer and allowed to dry.

7.
Each color in the design needs a screen and each screen must be blocked, taped, and setup.

8.  We then use our manual press to squeegee ea
ch color ink of the design onto the final product (and flash dry between colors if necessary).

9.  Once the ink is on the product, we run it through our drying conveyor where it will be cured by heating at about 360 degrees Fahrenheit.

10.  That's it!  Your final product is ready to be boxed and either shipped or picked up.
